Nas suas histórias há pequenos enigmas que pedem para ser desvendados, há fantasmas e há amores não correspondidos, há recordações do passado e projecções do futuro.

Depois dos elogiados "Preaching to a Choir of Friends and Family" (2013), "5 Monstros" (2014) e "Ensaio Sobre a Harmonia" (2015), onde colaborou com nomes como Golden Slumbers, Um Corpo Estranho ou Davide Lobão, surge "5 Tragedies", um EP composto por 5 contos temerosos onde as canções íntimas e introspectivas de discos anteriores dão agora lugar a temas mais expansivos e com um lado sinfónico. Este EP é editado em 18 de Março de 2018 com o selo Planalto Records.

O artista integra ainda a compilação #1 da Experimentáculo, ao lado de nomes como Nicotine's Orchestra e Fast Eddie Nelson. Tio Rex, o segredo mais bem guardado da folk portuguesa, está quase, quase, a deixar de o ser.
